You scream, but all they hear are whispers.
You cry, but all they see are painted smiles.
You run, but to them, you're on your knee's.
You fall, but to them, that's where you belong.
You stare, but their eyes never meet yours.
You smile, but to them it's just a diluted frown.
You win, but they feel you must have cut a corner.
You fail, their expectance is becoming unpredictable.
Take a look into their mirror,
and then maybe you will see.
That you're a little bit shrouded,
a little bit blurred, maybe even lost.

| if you were to ask me, i would say you were writing about some girl you like, whose getting played and doesn't care. anyway, thats not what matters. great write, it describes quite a few people i know unbelievably |
