among the fading winter
trees i see a single bloom
a dash of color
among the dead and dried old leaves
my inner child reaches down
to scoop this bud away
my peaceful heart
retracts my hand just in the nick of time
at last
the spring has shown her face
who am i to take it away
my mornig on the morrow
a lone bud it will not be
for spring has come for all the earth to see

This is lovely, Putter.
A beautiful write,

Great write,
