I Wrote Your Name

In the sand, I drew your name
with cupid's bow, the arrow aimed...
but from the waves, there came a roar
and washed away all of shore.
On my hand, I wrote your name
I smiled though they called it lame...
but the rain came down, before I could think
smearing away all of the ink.
In this song, I sang your name
the lyrics sweet, but brought no fame...
but without a choice
I soon lost my voice.
Irritated now, I couldn't believe
some how, your name always seemed to leave.
So I closed my eyes, and thought real hard
for a way for our love to not discard.
I got it this time, let's see how it will go
this one last chance to let my feelings show.
In my heart, I placed your name
proudly so, it showed no shame
I knew it now...it'd never fade
because in my heart, you'd always stay.

First I luv the pen name.
wow a work of art in the form of masterpeice.
There's only one man on this planet that's ever truly had my heart.
course you'd have to know my work to figure that one out.
I named him after my childhood hero.
thanks for jaggin my memory cause all those memories are pleasing to the heart-n-very plesent to the eye.
huggs,

painful and real. this is one of the best scrawls i've ever read. original, yet something that makes you say, "*****, why didn't i think of that". an amazing write that you should make into a song.
