WE HAD SAND IN OUR SHOES
WHILE WE WALKED ALONG THE SHORELINE
WE TRIED TO CATCH UP WITH THINGS
AND WHAT WAS ON HIS MIND
HE SAID ITS BEEN TOO LONG NOW
AND I MISS MY TIME WITH YOU
I'D LIKE TO START ALL OVER
PLEASE COME BACK HOME
CAUSE WE'RE NOT THROUGH
I DIDN'T GET TO FINISH
WHAT I STARTED IN YOU
I HAVE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS
I WANT YOU TO DO
AND IF YOU CAN FIND THE TIME
YOU KNOW I STILL LOVE YOU
AND I SAID LORD
THATS REALLY WHAT I WANT
OH I MISS YOU TOO
AND YES
I STILL LOVE YOU
I'M SORRY PLEASE FORGIVE ME
I DON'T WANT TO BE ALONE
HERE I AM LORD , ARMS OPEN WIDE
I WANT TO COME BACK HOME
OH WE WALKED AND TALKED FOREVER
ALONG THE SHORE THAT DAY
KICKING SAND INTO THE AIR
LAUGHING THEN WE PRAYED
HE SAID WELCOME HOME MY CHILD
TAKE MY HAND, YOU'RE NOT ALONE
I SAID LORD FORGIVE OF MY SINS
AND PRAISE GOD I MADE IT HOME
