A Million

Contributed by forgottenone_iam on Monday, 21st March 2005 @ 10:59:24 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

A Million prayers cant bring you back,
I know because I’ve tried.
Neither could a million Tears,
I know because I’ve cried.
You left me with a Broken Heart,
and Happy memories too,
but I Never wanted memories
I Only wanted You.

This poem does not belong to you. I have no idea where you got it, but please do not pass off other people's works as your own. I know that you state "a friend" gave it to you, however at the bottom of the webpage it says it is copywrited to you. You should never have posted someone else's work on this site.

I am sorry if I come off as a little rude. However this particular poem happens to belong to me. In fact this is only 2 verses of the original poem I wrote titled "Wish" I realise that you posted this in 2005. However I wrote this poem long before that, while I was a teenager, I never thought the day would come where anyone would question it's author.

Please remove this poem, you are doing me a great dis-service by posting it here.

Thank you,
Cynthia D. Comeau-Lackey

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
