I play no games of competition
as my successes have been from my doing.
Owning up to my old sadness
spinning miles and miles
of sorrowful yarn
until that wheel no longer spins
and welcome the strong arms of Happiness
and the joyful light of Love.
I waited for you for too long
and looked past myself
on a train of lost souls
that never stops,
a deathly ride on broken tracks.
Upon the fatal impact,
a crash into myself,
I walk away unharmed
and shake off the dust
that we have become
and wash clean
my sins of the past
and leave you behind.

I loved this title. You captured the moments well. I liked this:
I walk away unharmed
and shake off the dust
that we have become

I agree with mjgrl.
I walk away unharmed
and shake off the dust
that we have become
I thought this line especially, expressed incredible depth and insight.....Powerful (as you say)
