It's the end of the cold as winter withers thin
The air becomes warm and the jackets grow slim
The ear-biting frost blows away with the wind
And outdoor activities increase by tens
Thunderstorms, so vicious, take to the skies
Lightning and flash floods mezmorize our eyes
Flowers and bushes bloom to full size
And the beautiful smells of nature arise
Love booms from directions we don't understand
Millions of creatures have families planned
The first ocean-goers take to the sand
All because springtime takes us by the hand
