Words are:
Blankets of fear
Meaningless imagination at most
What you use to hide you heart
Feeble attempts of protection
What do you fear?
Letting yourself go?
Or letting yourself live?
So pick your words carefully
Don’t let your eyes carry your secrets
For they will surely give away. . .to
What?
Joy, pain, anger
Theyre all the same in different times.

Hmnnn. Blankets of fear? I'm thinking you attribute this to a person, and not in the general sense of any metaphor for words . . ?
Personal, methinks. |

Fascinating!
"Meaningless imagination at most" - hmm - well, your imagination formed these thoughts and, by words, communicated them to me. I reponded. I don't think that's meaningless... LOL
I really liked the last line - "Theyre all the same in different times" - love, hate, life, death... you name it! - Very philosophical!
Really enjoyed it.
Best,
p
