This is a love story

Topic: DarkPoetry

A heart destroyed by three past loves. How does anyone ever recover from such misery? What keeps this person going? Is it faith or maybe hope? The hope that one day one of her loves will come back to realize how much she loved them? Is it faith that one day someone will love her too? Her first love was taken away from her, because of his foolishness. They loved each other equally. But once taken apart their love for each other turned to hate. There really is a thin line between love and hate. Her second love was banned from her because, of his selfishness. She loved him and adored him and yet all he could do was take from her. She had enough love for the both of them. Perhaps God would have let them be if he wouldn’t have almost taken her life. Her third love perhaps the worst was at a far-away land to come home near her birthday. He broke her heart when he gave himself to someone else who may have not loved him as much as she. Never have I seen a woman who could love so greatly. Yet I fear if this time she can pick herself up. Her third love apologized for breaking her heart. And as a response she stated I should be use to it. Thirds a charm the first two loves nearly killed me and you are here to finish the job. I’m foolish to love such men. But then you can’t choose who your heart loves. Just be grateful for knowing what love is. He made love to her that night. Leaving her with at ouch of hope. After this night he was never to be seen or heard from again. But still every week she wrote him his letter. She lived her life loving this one man. Yet I'll never know how this love story has ended. Because I have not lost hope. Perhaps I never will.
