Mediation of misery
life blinds my eyes
while my happiness is molested
by the molten hands of the crimson sky
i close my eyes, yet i do not dream
"oh god im still alive"
lost my soul, reality rips at the seam
"oh god im still alive"
the nightmares come and the pain stays
"oh god im still alive"
my time is slipping, my essence begins to fray
"Oh God, tell me I am dieing"
emptiness seeps inside
i never can never fully heal
apart from everything
i reach out to touch, but never really feel
crimson skies crest yonder hills
fractured light shines on my broken dreams
i cling to the darkness
Whether it's there or not
