I loved you all along
how I wished to sing your song
but I never ever thought
that I'd ever be your sort
I was down here
and you were up there
seemed like a distant dream
never knew you'd sow my seam
so I tried to get along
with some other silly song
cos I never ever thought
that I could ever be your sort
but now I'm happy over here
and I'm happy over there
I'm living out that dream
and now you've sown my seam
here's a funky little tune
for a funky little girl
I love this funky little town
and this funky little world
