What Do You Do?

Contributed by Kie-Kie on Sunday, 20th March 2005 @ 08:37:52 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

What do you do,
When you want someone happy,
But they won't let you go?
Do you let them hold on,
Because you still love them,
Or do you insist on going solo?
Do you let them screw up what they have,
Because you envy their new love,
Or do you push them away telling them "no"?

What do you do,
When you love someone so much,
But without their smile you'd die inside?
Do you run to them,
With open arms,
Or run away and hide?
Do you keep pretending to smile,
Watching them try to be happy,
Or tell them you love them and you still cry?

What do you do,
When you know what's right,
But still you want them back?
Do you tell them no,
They've got a new love,
Or let yourself take them back?
Do you push them away,
Making them go,
As your heart suffers an attack?

Such a sad, emotional and heartfelt write. You've expressed yourself openly and honestly. It's the worst situation to be in.
Hope everything works out 4 u.
Otherwise a truly sad, but very well written poem.

Good question.

This was a really nice poem, you wrote it so well. I liked it and the pattern was well put together.

Nice poem Kie.

Kie a decision not to be taken lightly.
I noticed you put think your ex wants you back.
Patience is a virtue as the saying goes.
A belief.. if it is meant to be so shall it be.
A lot of heart searching is needed to look back on the relationship you had together before.
If there are any doubts in your mind then look deeply in your heart
I wish you happiness and hope whatever the out come it makes you contented.

Excellent poem

Love Angelxxx

wow... You sure know how to put your feelings down. Ask yourself do you really want to do it all over again. Maybe give him one chance but then guard your heart..

Hmm...this is a hard one to grasp..
I like it..it's different. The questions make it very very human.

The only advice I can give you is to follow your heart...but at the same time, don't let it rule you.

Great write hun,
*hugs* Phil
