It's been a month
I still can't sleep
When I close my eyes I'm lost in dreams
Dreams where I have you to keep
In these dreams
I can see your smile
Hear your voice
And I'm happy for a while
I can lay with you
Hold you tight
Be with you
And everything's right
And it's so wonderful
Being in my dreams
Where I cn sit and talk with you
And escape almost anything
But that's all they are
Pictures in my mind
Dreams where you didn't have to go
And leve your love behind

one thing i've come to understand...the body may not be available for the caress but as long as that someone is kept in the heart and mind, no one truly ever is gone. touching read.

So sorry that you have lost someone you loved Kie. Dreams are a way of getting closer to the person you have lost. He will always be in your thoughts and live on in your heart forever. For those we love never die.

And aren't we lucky that our LORD gave us the ability to dream. I would like to believe that is a place where we can go to meet our loved lost ones, until we again meet them in heaven.
Beautiful write.. because it holds a good place in my mind.. where I still dream too of all the ones who have passed on... especially my first husband. I can always go there in my dreams to visit. Thank you so much for creating this valuable poem.
