Walk with me on brittle leaves of red and gold
Until the falls frozen winds catch us
And we are held hostage by the lords of dawn
Do you dare to run with me
Until the air in your lungs no longer exists
Will you duel with danger to be with me
Risk everything that you have strived for
Just to breath between the stars
On your journey to the moon
Do I matter enough to you for that
Where the chains are broken
and we can be rebels in the spring
Dancing between the snow storms
Playing tag on the clouds
And sitting atop the highest peek
So we can watch danger chase after us
So we can watch danger chase after us
Dance with me on silver wings
And we’ll run through the mists of ocean waves
Promise me that we’ll concur the world together
With hands clasped and minds set

A beautiful piece of poetry. I loved the imagery used and the way it comes across into the readers mind. A very well written piece of poetry. |
