Can you see

Topic: ChristianPoetry

Can you see across the valley, a man three times denied?
The man is forced, to pack a cross, there on the other side
Can you see across the valley, the crowd thats gathered there?
To watch the man bare the cross, with a crown of thorns, in his hair.

Can you see across the valley as they slowley climb That hill?
Where Two other men have joined him now, do you see the propesy fulfilled?
Can you see across the valley, as they nail him to that cross?
Can you see the blood in his hands, Can you see the pain that it caused?

Can you see across the valley, as he hangs there from that tree?
Can you see the man pray to God, Can you hear him pray for both, you and for me?
Can you see across the valley, as they gamble for his cloak below?
While the greatest prize of all the worlds, is hanging above to behold.

Can you see across the valley, those dark clouds rolling in?
Ten thousand angels their upon, awaiting his one command.
Can you see across the valley, that none were loosed, not one?
Can you see, The son of God, raised his head, and say " Father it is done ! "

Can you see across the valley, as they lay him in a borrowed tomb?
Can you see the stone roll away, Can you see his life resume?
Can you see across the valley, where his desiciples have gathered there?
When the son of God, say's goodbye, then assends back to his home, up in the air.

Can you see across the valley, that river so deep and wide?
Your home prepaired and waiting their, upon the other side.
Can you see across the valley, GOD setting there upon his throne?
Can you see JESUS CHRIST, on his right, to claim you as his own?

Thank you, you had your eyes open to write this poem. Thank you for reminding us all about what we can see, but also about what He can see in us. He did what He chose to do for us, so that we may live, it is our turn to thank Him by living up to His love. How many can actually do what He did? Yes, it is scary and some will cop out.
