Alot of time has passed, since I first layed eyes on you.
Nothing to come of, nothing to do. But just sit around here and wait for you.

The response I want,I think I'll never hear.
Even though I pray, my words, God will hear.
The thought has come to mind, to confront you.
About all the things, that I hold and feel.

The feeling of love, that I might see in your eyes.
The sensitive touch, I know thats you inside.
The wonderful sight, I see everyday.
The taste of your kiss, I wish to embrace.
The warmth of your voice, lets me know that you're near.
From every kiss to every thought I dream that it will take its place.
But I don't know, it just might not be fate.
I hope it will happen, and maybe sometime soon.

I really want you to know, but I'm always in fear.
Things may come up that I might not want to hear.
But I know you'll be there, to just hold my hand.
And let me know I'll have a friend that is always near me till the end.
