Beast of Blood

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Saturday, 19th March 2005 @ 05:25:33 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Ravenous…unbearable…endless…

HUNGER

Immortal agony, this yearning within…
How I long for release from these horrid chains…
Satiate my hunger,
For you are the only one that can…
Free the beast within,
And let me feed on your dead heart…
Caress my longing body,
Nibble on my trembling skin…
Make all my crimson fantasies come true…
Let me taste your satin lips,
Gnaw on your sinister tongue,
Drown in your sea of scarlet essence…

BLOOD

My bittersweet pleasure,
Heavenly sin,
This hot fire coursing through my veins,
Overflowing in my mouth…
Blissful redemption,
I dance to your melody of screams…

Torment…agony…pleasure…

Chained to my wall of torture,
You plead for my forgiveness…
I grow weary of this worthless game,
Your tears do not quench my thirst anymore…
I rip you open with just one swipe of my hand,
The silent night now rings with your painful cries,
Ahhhhh…. Such music you make…
A torrent of bowels and blood galore,
My feast awaits me…
I savor every part of you with the utmost delight,
Drenched in my own ocean of cannibalistic gratification,
Just one taste of you sends my mind reeling…

How long have I wanted you?
Desired you?
My deceiving little lamb,
How long have you lied to me?
Your lifeless eyes reveal to me all your secrets you have kept hidden…

Darling mortal,
You were only of mere flesh…
I… I am Eternal,
That lingering shadow at the corner of your eye,
The creature that sleeps within you,
The immortal that loved you…
And now you are mine,
Within my dead heart,
Coursing through these empty veins…
I stole your life,
With just one deadly kiss…

I am Mistress of the Night,
The monster in your nightmare,
The drinker of your precious red wine…

I am

BLOOD FLOWER

A tale of blood, revenge, and debt to the devil come due. Shocking, yet deliciously brutal [read: honest] vivisection (and consumption) of an untrue heart. However, though gothic in its bloody detail, your poem bespeaks of a pain which justifies the literary act of violence.

Many tortured souls will be drawn to your work, and it is for them that you offer the greatest hope for release. Those who would censor such images should be reminded: there is evil in each of us. Only its exposition, by those courageous enough to come to terms with their innermost regions, can defeat it.

Thank you, Stephy, for never flinching in the face of evil--and for always, in the end, standing for what is good and right and beautiful in the universe. Yours in light, -KAC-
