As soon as I loved you I fell dead to your poison. I fell dead like the rose in the midst of winter. With no sun and the world she loves is nothing but cold to her. As soon as I loved you my heart went cold. My heart was cold like the lips of your lost love who’s body lay stiff on an autopsy table. As soon as I loved you my soul was damned. Damned like the soul of a mother who has just ended the life of her unborn child. Ended a life before it had a chance to begin. As soon as I loved you I lost my mind. I lost my mind like a child looses her teddy bear in an over crowded carnival. I died the minute I set eyes on you. I felt death creep up on me. Creep up on me as I fell deeper in your trap of what so sadly I call love.
