Dis die haat wat ons so dryf,
die gif in ons bloed wat ons verbly,
die donkerte in ons harte wat ons so sny,
hel is altyd hier en sal altyd hier bly.

Wat is hoop rerag, as die dood ons inwag,
wat is liefde rerag, as die mens na haat smag.

Sal ons eendag ooit vergeet,
van al die haat wat in ons leef,
die geweld wat ons herleef,
elke dag van die week.

Sal ons harte ooit rein wees,
as ons net mens is,
sal die Here ons ooit vergeef,
as daar demone in ons leef,
sal ons vergifnis vra,
as ons weet ons is verkeerd
of sal ons net so in ons hel voort bly leef...

Ek glo vas dat die lewe is dit wat jy daarvan maak. Netso glo ek liefde en hoop is presies dit wat jy daarvan maak. Die ding wat ons visie somtyds belemmer, is die feit dat ons soms verkies om meer te konsentreer op die haat, en kak dan die goeie mis. Dit klink meskien bietjie cliche', maar ek glo rerig alles gaan uitwerk, een manier of die ander.

Dis n baie goeie en interesante gedig.
