Dear God

Contributed by OhSaige on Saturday, 19th March 2005 @ 12:56:59 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

You’ve taken my mother
and in a sense my father too.
Every night I do pray
I try talking to you.

I take time to listen
to try to understand
To make some sense
of your great “master” plan.

Take one more
and this I confess.
I shall move from you
with no forwarding address.

I have 3 or 4 poems of death and loss. Check them out it may be cathardic for you. PM me if you'd like to chat. The pain does fade at some point, or maybe we just get used to it- not really sure.-betty

What cradles the human heart is love, what destroys it is greif. The only way to render grief worthless against you is through faith. What is there left when you strike the hand of faith itself and punish the solemn griever only attempting to cradle you with love?

~there is a collision between anger and sadness, conquering and relinquishing. Always walk away in tact with faith, human hearts heal with hope.~weepingprophet
