To a mother that lost her child
From a child that lost her mother

When I cry I cry with you.
When I laugh I laugh with you.
When my heart aches it aches with yours.
When I have questions I know you do too.
When I feel the warm gentle breeze
I know it is our angels' breathes
whispering the words “I love you”.
When the warm rains fall
I know it is our angels
shedding their tears of happiness and love.
Sweet memories so easily rekindled
a simple sound, a smell, a touch, a place.
Each tear that falls
removes a splinter of pain
replacing it with a drop
of joy and happiness.

You will never be alone.
