When our eyes meet, I am entranced.
Each movement of your mouth
Intensifies my longing
For our lips to playfully touch.
The strength, yet gentleness of your hands,
The manliness of your broad shoulders.
And I long to melt into your chest,
Enfolded in your arms.
Intently I listen for your voice,
As it sends chills through my spine.
A playful laugh
With dancing eyes,
Reveals your heart longs, too.
My heart is captured
By a moment of shared passion.
And I yearn to touch
The depths of your soul,
To entwine yours with mine.
Beyond the passion,
Beyond the desire,
To make a spiritual connection
That will withstand the storms of time.
I yearn to know all of you--
The deepest yearnings of your soul,
Where you've been and where you're going.
I want to share all that you are,
To share your hopes,
To share your dreams.
Beyond the confusion
Of what should be,
Beyond the reality
Of what is,
I want all of you
And I want us.
Some day,
Some way,
Some how.
