Her Savior

The years passed by,
And each day she died.
She looked normal still,
But only did she know the truth.

Life has no meaning to her anymore,
Night after night giving herself away.
Heart beating faster,
She thought "what am i doing here?"

She hurts herself now,
She cant believe what she has turned into.
Wasn't she supposed excel?
How did she choose this path?

Nearby, he lurks.
He watches all of her mistakes,
And the pain she goes through each time.
He sees the scars on her body and mind.

He wants to reach out to her..
If only he could save her.
Save her from the misery caused by herself.
He knows shes worth something.

He dreams of her face at night,
Of the tender kisses she would give.
But nothing more, no.
He doesnt want to rush things.

Shes walking through a path
She sees a shadow in the darkness

His face lights up as he sees hers.
He reaches out his hand,

Together, they walk into the light.
Joined together as one.
