Ever since you left, tears have been falling nonstop;
Hitting the ground with a drip, drip, drip.
You said goodbye without a reason,
I wonder if it is something I did.
Now today the tears have stopped,
But when I hear your name they poor like there’s no tomorrow.
I remember when you made that promise,
When you said you would love me forever.
I look back at the happy memories,
But all I think of is how you broke that one special guarantee.
All I want to know is why you hurt me.

Please tell me how I have moved on since you left.
Deep down I love you,
But why am I here with someone else?
Tell me that you are sorry,
And that you really do love me.
Because even though you tore my heart into pieces,
I am willing to give you a second chance.
That is how I will prove that I still love you,
I still love you, since you left.
