That Night

Contributed by sweet_lil_b2003 on Friday, 18th March 2005 @ 08:37:41 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I see someone lying on the ground
From a distance
Darkened by the shadows of night
As I get close
I reconize the person
I realize its you
I could never forget those
outgoing blue eyes, or the mischief in your smile
And your soft joyous lips
But, most of all your tender loving heart
What had happened to you?
You lay in front of me
With thoise same eyes and that smile
Could it really be you?
As I begin to turn away
I catch a glimpse of a note in your pocket
I look it over
It's adressed to me...

a real captivating write you have here, Crystal.
The suspense of the poem makes it intriguing. A very well written poem. keep it up, Crystal.
Hugs,
Sue
