Escape From Reality

On a whim of emotion
On the winds of change
I bare it all and show the same
I show the world that I am me
And I'm nothing more than strange
Locked up a little too tight
Wound up a little too much
Brought forth too far foward
and Pulled too far out of sight
But everything's fine in my eyes
I'm exactly how I want to be
I accept my differences and
My twisted reality
I live inside my own mind
It's the place where I'm welcome most
And even if I think real hard
I can see from coast to coast
I can see the vast open blackness
When I close my eyes shut
I can then imagine wonderous things
That escape my lovely grudge
With the world falling into dust
And society dying away
I like it here in my little strange world
Where everything's day to day
