A poem For someone who is Suicidal and adrenaline addicted

Contributed by Onslaught on Friday, 18th March 2005 @ 03:16:28 PM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

I like to fly in planes, as much as I can.
Not for the feeling of flying
But because it increases my odds of dying.
I like to drive fast in the fast lane, when it rains
Not for the feeling of speeding.
But because it increases my odds of a fellow car head on meeting.
There ain’t anything immoral about that.
I might have a death wish.
But people do this kind of stuff all the time.
I like to do everything on the edge.
Not because I am brave or a thrill seeker.
But because I’m a coward to shoot myself in the head.
And besides, suicide sends you straight to hell.
I found a loop hole and no one can be mad if I don’t stop.
Because overtly I’m not doing anything so out of the ordinary.
I’ll increase the odds as much as I can.
Doing things recklessly, but for fun.
And nothing can interfere with my plan.
I’ve never won the lottery.
I’ve never won anything.
But I’m pretty sure when it comes to my chances of dying.
The odds are as good as they can be.
So I cross my fingers
Wish me luck.
Hopefully on the way home from work tomorrow
I’ll get side-swiped and become one dead sorry ****
So Just imagine the thrill
As my crumpled burning car
Rolls violently down the hill.
Its not suicide,
It was just for fun.
