I am Death

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Friday, 18th March 2005 @ 02:53:12 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Take a look inside my malevolent grandeur...
The crumbling catacombs.. of my corrupted mind...
Careful, watch your step...
Don't look down, take in a deep breath,
And welcome in the darkness...
For in death...all questions are answered...and you are free...

Gaze into this beautiful thing called MADNESS...
Relish the insanity, wallow in your fear,
Yes, I smell it emitting from your diseased flesh...
Taste it on my malignant tongue...
Delicious...arid terror...

Blackest of souls,
I bid you welcome into the pits of obscurity and eternal shadows...
Called My Mind...
Realize, reader, that I want nothing from you but your scrumptious flesh…
Your terror-filled screams…
Your tainted crimson pain…
Your precious life…

Sway to my morbid song,
Close your eyes,
And let me take you away to a place...
Of infinite horror and creatures of the night...

Do not fear, I shall guide you...
Take my hand, hang on tight...
Succumb to the Night's bittersweet melody...
And blissful serenity will encompass your body...
And you will be free...

For I am Death,

And you can run from me for only so long...
