I write these poems
they sound so mean
thery're not you see
all they are is a plea
a plea to be more free
I am more free than I used to be
but I still can't make decisions concerning me
my life is not so boring anymore
I actually have one
I hope you can see
that I am not that little girl I used to be
I know I'm the first born
your only girl
but I'm going to be turning 18
and still wishing to be more free
so here it is again
my plea
my plea to be more free.
