There’s nothing wrong with my life
But there’s nothing right about it either.
I’ve never done that something that feels so right…
I’ve often read about it, or seen it on films
But I’ve never experienced it myself.
And I need to.
I need to have something in my life
Something that makes everything feel right
And brings a little excitement back.
I need something that makes me feel…amazing.
Something that makes me feel like
I’m on top of the world,
Something that lasts a moment,
But will live on in my heart for eternity.
Something like love.

Not all poetry has to rhyme, but what really needs to be there is a deep thought, a feeling..what the author wants to portray, and you did that really well. You took what you were feeling, what you were thinking, and molded it into something that, although not rhyming, still flowed well together. I really liked reading this, because of the idea behind it..How love makes you feel, and how so many people want that feeling, because of the way its portrayed in movies, in shows, in books..Great write. Really enjoyed reading.

I agree...sometimes the best poetry has no rhythm or rhyme. It just is....and that is what makes it awesome :) Great job!
