speeding in the rain
with only thoughts of you
and ten million other things...
walls of seperation
easy to overcome, i think,
but you know they say it takes two...
motivation is lacking sometimes.
sitting in verbose silence
insanity's call becomes clearer,
constantly whispering in my ear.
if at first, and second and third
you dont succeed...
then maybe it wasn't meant to be...
crying lonely tears
fighting temptation....to isolate
i try. without result.
results overwhelm, when i try not.
my timing's off...
the tsunami can not be blamed.
holding in
not because of insecurities
but to spare your happy heart
the complications and despair.
yes, yes
i'd give you my last shirt
and i do cry when you hurt
the heart of a child is ephemeral
this i know.
my love is strong enough
strong enough to let you go
but the impression you left in my heart
will never fade.
Pain is beauty
Sometimes.
but when pain is not painful
its a release
and works out endurance and strength
you're the reason for my pain
I the source.
reaching out for a hand to hold
but every touch feelig cold
maybe i'm the source
of warmth.
we wear the masks
Do we not?
drifting away from the mentality
that i came into the world with
It makes for happiness,
But is it right?
