She is always at the breaking point of tears
At least when she is around me
I can’t help but wonder why
I mean I know why
But now why me
Is it because I listen
Is it because I care
She knows we grow more
Together with every tear
And she always fights them
Is it because of him?
Or is it because of me
I just don’t know
What should I do
I think with all the good I do I should have wings

We always seem to take it out on the ones we love the most. Do what you have always done, continue to be her support and her love.
