Last String Left to Pull

Contributed by upomik on Thursday, 17th March 2005 @ 05:49:05 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

So much yelling
Blamed for uncommitted crimes
I hide inside myy mind
Dreaming of better times

I'm target practice for my parents
But I'm almost worn out
When I'm gone then what will they do?
They'll have no one to push around

Eyes constantly cast downward
Always glued to the floor
Just let the words wash over me
Can't fight back anymore

Ignoring all who inquire
No one understands
Tears collect at my feet
Push away helping hands

just some thoughts...
life is an echo - we get what we give; that which we see in others is really inside us.

if ever you feel the need for an ear, i listen. i may respond immediately, but i do answer. even if you just wish to vent...some people do understand.
very heartfelt write
thanks for sharing
