SUICIDE

Contributed by THUGGIN4REAL on Thursday, 17th March 2005 @ 03:30:09 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I CONTEMPLATE SUICIDE , DO YOU SEE IT IN MY EYES
I'M GONNA TELL YOU SOME SECRETS
AND NO THERE ARENT ANY LIES
IMAGINE SIX BULLETS FLYING YOUR WAY
AND ALL OF THEM HITTING THE ONE YOU LOVE
WOULD YOU STILL BELIEVE IN GOD
AND THE SPIRIT THAT FLYS IN THE FORM OF A DOVE
THAT NIGHT I PUT A KINFE TO MY THROAT
AND WHATS SAD
IS THAT I WOKE UP THE NEXT DAY WITHOUT A CHANCE FOR HOPE
BEING A GANGSTER ISNT ALWAYS WHAT IT SEEMS
MOST OF US DONT MAKE IT TO FULLFILL
WHAT WE LIKE TO CALL OUR UNWANTED DREAMS
DEATH HAS BEEN AROUND ME TOO MUCH
SO I WELCOMED HIM INTO MY HOME
I USE TO POP PILLS IN FRONT OF HIM
WHEN I WAS ALL ALONE
MY HEART WOULD BEAT FAST
AND I WOULD PRAY THAT IT WOULD JUST EXPLODE
SO I'D PUT MY HANDS AROUND MY THROAT
AND SQUEEZE UNTIL MY AIR COULD NO LONGER HOLD
SHOOT OUTS WITH MY ENEMIES
IT WAS ALWAYS AN EYE FOR AN EYE
BUT IT WAS LIKE I WAS BULLET PROOF
CAUSE ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS DIE
I USE TO DRINK SO MUCH
I COULDNT EVEN RECONIZE MY OWN FACE
I FELT SO LOST WITHOUT MY FALLEN SOILDERS
I'D DO ANTHING TO TAKE THERE PLACE
I GUESS DEATH WANTED NO PART OF ME
AT LEAST THATS WHAT I FIGURED
CAUSE WHEN I HELD THE GLOCK TO MY HEAD
THERE WAS NO BULLET WHEN I PULLED THE TRIGGER

Something I can relate to, sadly..I know life gets hard and this might sound wierd comming from me, since I'm suicidal myself..but there are people who love you would miss you..myself being one..so..if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm always here..I might not always know what to say, but I can listen, and in ways relate..more than you'd probably think..So..try to keep a smile on your face and know I'm always here..

Miss ya more than ya know,
Triste Ojos

This is the second poem posted by you that I have read. To tell you a little, I got in a gang when I was 13. I've lost 5 homies to suicide, overdose or drivebys. I got locked up in rehab and after three years I changed. Being a cholo (gangster) is up to you and no one else. If you don't like the life you live then YOU need to change it. ***** what your homies say, do what you need to do to take care of yourself. You'll make it, but you have to try.
