Beautiful angel of music,
Play that bittersweet hymn of ours,
On your guitar of fire…
Make me melt with your satin voice,
Sing to me a tale of love,
Late into the night, blissful redemption…
A touch is all I need,
From you feather fingertips…
A kiss from your lips will satiate any hunger…
Take my glass heart and the key,
I give them to you willingly…
Be gentle with my tattered heart,
Tend to it as if a child,
Love it like no other has…
Darling musician,
Make your guitar sing a hymn of passion,
Engulf in flames, intolerable pleasure…
We dance a fast-paced tango,
Hearts throbbing to one rhythm,
Eyes never parting…
Pulses quicken to an inhuman rate,
And the heat of Desire’s caress sears us into nothing…
I hear the whisper of its strings,
The enticing sighs of la guitarra de fuego…
It calls to me,
As you place your fingers on the strings,
And play another note of seduction…

I think this line sticks out;
"Be gentle with my tattered heart,"
since your heart's context at this stage in the write is that of glass. I'd change it to;
"Be gentle with my shattered heart,"
Just a suggestion.
This write made me think of flamenco dancing for some reason. Vibrant and powerful! well done. |
