One Little Cut

Contributed by acidicblasphemy on Thursday, 17th March 2005 @ 01:38:26 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I’m already addicted,
And it’s been only days.
Who knew that one little slice
Would be the only price I pay?

One little slice
One little cut
One little line
And all your troubles go behind.

I see the red,
The white and black,
I’ve finally found
What it is I lack.

I pick up the blade one more time
Wanting to put my pain away.
Knowing that I’m just one little cut
From flying away.

I slit my wrist
For the final time.
There’s nothing I can think of
That I’m leave behind.

I feel the pain flow out of me
I’m so close to being gone.
Then I remember the unborn life,
Which in me, she confides.
What have I done?!
