Like you boy
More than you know
Have so much more to give
Than what I show
And I'd hate to lose you again
This time I won't let it happen
I'll do everything I can
To keep away memories that sadden
I'll be there for you
If you prove you're not back for revenge
Not here to prove I was wrong
And you're not willing to change
For you I took on a challenge
This is not how I always feel
But I'm willing to comprise
If the words that you're saying are real
So this time or never
Take it or leave it, or just let it go
You'll never know if you walk out
If I ever meant anything more

Feeling expressed simply, honestly- good write.
I liked the last two lines.
Keep writing... |
