When did it go wrong?

The hour is way too late
Her family all snug and peaceful
Yet here she sits again...silently sobbing
The house is whole and neat
As are her children and man
Still sadness fills her eyes and heart
Inside, the air is dark and heavy
Her home of extraordinary and simple
And it is all too much for her
This is what she always hoped for
A puzzle-free life of happy and busy
Now she feels as if it was a mistake
How, where, ... what happened
Why did I just let it slip away
All I got is what I wanted
Frail fingers clutch the sodden cloth
So full of tearful questions
And she sits in the alone ... crying.

So true how when we get what we want we find it is not what we need.... I am sure when we realize this we make profound choices in our lives to do the right thing for US... Emotional writing from the core... very truthful and passionate.. thank you for your honesty in words and may you find what you need... |

Very sad but written well.
Sometimes a person jus needs to weep.
Hang in there as joy cometh in the morning.
huggs,

I would trade lives with her anytime. She had what I always wanted. Strange how karma works sometimes. I guess it is true that one mans desire is another mans pain. This one brought sad tears, both for she and I. Masterful write.

Hmmm Makes me wonder where her head was? What happened that even though she had everything (or so it would seem) she still could not find happiness. No love of self? No self-worth? Good write that brought some thoughts my way. Thanks for sharing.
Peace,
Me |
