There's letters across America
bein read tonight
Loved one's please don't read
unless I'm not comin back
And if you do then I'm afraid
my work on earth is done
Remember that I loved you
and tell my Daughters and my Sons
Mom and Dad you raised me
to be strong and brave
To My Love who waited for me
I treasure everything you gave
There's letters across America
being read tonight
I know they may bring tears
And yes there will be sorrow
But let's remember what they left us
They gave us hope for tomorrow
