I am a dead girl walking,
No one hears me when I’m talking,
I am a shadow in your dreams,
It’s my voice you hear when I scream.
My face is scarred & mutilated,
My sanity has been butchered & desecrated,
I haunt you deep into the night,
I fill your soul with fear & pure fright.
I died many years ago,
My death was brutal & it was slow,
Now I am an un- rested soul,
One which has been swallowed whole.
I dress in black & hunt the dead,
Tempting souls to my sadistic bed,
Giving them the kiss of eternal death,
Taking from them their very last breath.
The only love that my heart has,
Is one that only in death can last,
I am the dead girl walking,
In your nightmares you will hear me talking.

Pixie, this is incredible ... I love this, it is dark and has a seductiveness to it that just grabs me ... reaches out and grabs me ... and wont let go ...

OOOO... Pixie... this is great!!! Very dark... very seductive... and yes... I agree... it just reaches out and grabs u with it's icy... boney fingers and won't let go...!! Great write!!! I can't say enuff about it! U GO GIRL!!! LOL!

Pix you've done it once again. I'm drawn to your poems i swear! I loved this and i will Piggyback what most have said.. it does indeed reach out and grab you. I'm usually not one for favorites, but you are # 1 in my eyes. Keep writing, and i'll keep reading. Till then, bye for now.
