I ask you a simple question
You don't want to answer
And it tears me up inside
I stay up late and cry
Because you don't believe me
When I tell you how much I love you
My world would have already fallen apart
My skies would have been a dark grey
But you gave me light
You said you wouldn't hurt me
But I guess everyone makes mistakes
But see, I'm still here
I keep saying I love you and even though
You're with another girl
You sometimes say it back
It hurts, knowing that theres another
Woman who makes you happy
And gives you what you need
I once thought that this would last
You and me, forever..
Maybe even start a family one day
It could still happen, theres still hope
Things can change
I still want to be yours
But I guess the feelings not mutual
And theres only room for her
So..let me down gently..please..
