How could you?
Tearing searing agony
the stench of burning flesh
chokes the air
as your flash of cold steel
plunges into my chest
Twist, turn, gouge
rip it out and grasp it
in one hand
feel it beat, black as night
and watch it bleed
in a puddle on the floor
