Into your arms I will fly

Spreading out over horizons
to reach your pot of gold
laying flat over blades of grass
asking gently for your hand.
Reaching up to Eden's broken gates
we find ourselves lost
in torrents of meaning
wrapped in a single vision of doubt
to be honest in our ways
living to our ultimate Truth
that we seek within each other
the comfort to fall
to land safely upon our tender feet
as we lay bare our hearts to see.
Asking in our reflection as to why
we have walked a broken path
made up of razors and broken glass
the past is past
to which we can not deny
and I fly from these fields
of mixed emotions
to lay warmly in your arms.
