The Land, The Sky, And I

Hitchhike a desert road
Where copper brown
And the glorious crown
Are all you can see
Miles and miles and miles
Desolate but not lonely
Here so far removed
From the busy city insanity
Unlike soft Mojave winds
Pushing tumbleweed traffic
Across the flat Earth
Toward a purple mountain background
I envision history's grand cliche
War-torn cowboys and indians
Preserved in the rubble of ghost towns
Exit the myth of ancient oasis
On untrodden dirt I stand
Thumb out with no sign
No cares and no lies
Just the land, the sky, and I

Well, it's a feeling I have felt. Sometimes, I just want to leave, see the world, find out what is out there. I hate staying in one place, I love to travel.
Great poem, I love the images in it.
