Questions

Topic: ambiguous

Can u ever give enough love to the one you care for?
Is there ever enough you can do?
What is defined by giving your whole heart to someone?
What about those of us who don’t know how to give love?
What is love anyway?
Is it an emotion, an action or just a dream that we make up?
I think I know love but love shouldn’t fluctuate I’m sure
It’s supposed to be pure and unconditional isn’t it?
Stable reliable and monotonous!
Or maybe that’s just relationships.
Maybe I lost my dreams and fell to sleep.
Or just maybe you’re whatever I want you to be.
In reality my eyes and heart may grieve at what I perceive.
Love is blind!

An abstract piece, embellished with the many rhetorical questions, pondered by most.
Love, in all of its complexity is merely (and disappointingly) a chemical reaction.
You have embraced some concepts which, cannot be measured, furthermore provoking your audience, on your quest for valid answers.

“It’s supposed to be pure and unconditional isn’t it?
Stable reliable and monotonous!”
The atypical association to love, is it not, which, is instilled within us via the media and other surrounding influences.

“Maybe I lost my dreams and fell to sleep.”
A paradoxical outlook most thought provoking and mindful.
Or perhaps the awaking revelation of truth within reality?

“In reality my eyes and heart may grieve at what I perceive.”
It is difficult to see through opaque lenses, as it is to rationalise your heart’s whims.

Love is blind.
A conclusive answer?
Or yet another question?

I greatly enjoyed this piece.
Well done!

I like this. I know I can relate to it, I know many others can too. We are all plagued by questions such as these at some point in our lives.
I love the line "Maybe I lost my dreams and fell to sleep"

Great write,
*hugs* Phil xxx

>Or just maybe you’re whatever I want you to be.

I think that is the answer to the question. We see what we want to see. We are blinded by self created dreams and ideas of the ones we love. In reality if we see what we are really looking at its not a pretty sight when you take away the rose coloured spectacles and see the truth. That is simply why love is blind!
