Doors To Heaven

Contributed by savedbydeath on Monday, 14th March 2005 @ 09:45:48 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Taken from our hands
but not our hearts.
Part of a plan.
Right from the start.
We had great love just for you.
Times were hard but we always made it through
Your love will live on.
Our love for you will live on.
Walking through the doors to heaven
as our hearts are achen.
You had great love and passion.
So much sadness, our bodies are shaken.
You were one of a kind.
You have and always will be stuck on our minds
We love you.
We're all gonna miss you.
Walking through the doors to heaven
you'll never be forgotten

I lost my grandmother not too long ago. I would have to say this poem really describes the way I've felt over it. I wish you and your family good luck in the coming times.

A nice tribute to your Aunt.I liked your poem and the faith you show.
O'Death where is thy sting ?
Death is but eternity's begining.
Your Aunt now sees God face to face. Beautful poem.
Sinned
