My Lady Justice

Lady blind eyes,
why do they despise
the law
you never saw
paraded in front of you,
what do you do
when the blindfold is not enough,
when words are written on the inside,
and you can't hide from the pride
in prejudice, the just in the justice
that is not enough for us
to accept as subtance
unless you take our stance
and let go your balance.
Dear blind lady,
everyone calls you crazy
'cause you hide behind neutrality,
reason and rationality.
If only you could see
the world as it is today,
would it change your sway,
could you save the day,
with sword in the left hand,
balance in your right,
will you take a last stand,
and finish the good fight.
Don't open your eyes Lady Justice,
I don't want you to see it's true,
how they slit you're throat from behind,
how it is they're killing you.
