I Know

I know miracles do exist
I know dreams do come true
I Know beauty can be described
With just one look upon you
I know a love that’s indescribable
I know a joy that overflows
I know a feeling of a blessing
That grows, and grows and grows
I know the importance of a father
I know what is expected of me to be
I know how full my heart is of love
Each time his precious face I see
I know I’ll never let myself fail him
I know his care is my first job
I know he depends on my consistency
Even when it might be hard
I know to raise him takes commitment
I know he needs my undivided time
I know he needs a strong influence
To ensure his world is fine
I know it would be my greatest privilege
I know the honor bestowed on me
I know the greatest gift given
Is this little boy on my knee
I know miracles do exist
I know dreams do come true
I know I have been so blessed
With a son as wonderful as you
