Throughout Eternity

In the stream across time somehow our love was lost.
A beginning laced with joy then struck down by sorrow.
A struggle ensued and many lives were destroyed at such a great cost.

In my heart you remained the center of my world.
As I march from battle to battle you are my only thought in my head the swirled.
Warriors dread my blade knowing of my prowess.
However it is my love for you that mows them down like a blade of grass.

Returning to you is the only thing I see.
Not knowing our cruel destiny.

As my foot steps onto my homeland ash and fire abound.
Screams of terror are the only sound.
Unable to find you my soul breaks down.

Seeking you I discover the worst, not knowing I am about to invoke a curse.
I lift my blade to god and denounce his name.
It is in him that lies the blame.
Now he plans to make me shame.

To seek you through eternity is the punishment for my crime.
We are to be reborn and die for the rest of time
.
Always out of each others reach, no matter how much we beseech.
Now our paths have crossed again.
But still I am tormented for my sin.

Nice! I really like it. I am thinking a lack of passion, but nicely put all the same. Good job and maybe a story it might be a consideration.
