Day Dreamer

Day dreams magnified in her smiles,
She dwells in the silent escapade from reality,
Where the borders are blurred,
And characters are misty eyed,
The dialogues well rehearsed,
Yet conversations are unclear,
The body is numb for the moment,
While the mind races between,
Reality and the frail outline of visions.
But her silver frame cracks,
When breezes of realistic hues,
Sweep across and breaks her bridges,
That links her to heavenly freedom,
And her dreams are left untouched,
Till her concentration sways again.

A quaint write on a very quaint subject. I like the analogy a lot for I too am a day dreamer par excellance. You have captured well here the fleeting but satisfying feel of sweet sweet daydreams. A nice write. |
